This remote and rarely visited region offers the trekker an insight into traditional Andean life. The region is a timeless world, where farmers plant their crops on the lands their ancestors tended, and watch over herds of llama and alpaca beneath the sacred snow-covered peaks they once worshipped as gods.
Daily departures are available along the year. However, due to weather conditions, the recommended period for this trek is between April – November.
