A journey from the Andean highlands of Peru to its megadiverse Amazon basin. Cusco was once the heart of the great Inca empire and is now a fascinating blend of 16th century European architecture and the legacy of the Incas. Away from the city the Sacred Valley, ringed by snowcapped peaks, is still inhabited by the ancestors of those who built its many temples and palaces, and beyond the valley Machu Picchu lies surrounded by the tropical forests that hid it for five centuries. The Amazon basin is the world?s most biodiverse region, and we will explore its tributaries before heading south to the sacred shores of Lake Titicaca, with its remote islands, living culture and fascinating archaeological remains.
Day 1: Arrive Lima.
Day 2: Flight Lima/Cusco. Free afternoon or relaxed orientation walk with your guide.
Day 3: Sacred Valley, (Pisaq market, Ollantaytambo, Chinchero).
Day 4: Machu Picchu. Afternoon return to Cusco.
Day 5: Amazon basin rainforest.
Day 6: Amazon basin rainforest.
Day 7: Return to Cusco, free afternoon.
Day 8: Train Cusco to Puno.
Day 9: Visit Lake Titicaca and islands, Uros, Taquile.
Day 10: Visit Sillustani burial towers and flight to Lima.
Day 11: Airport transfer and international flight.

Day 1 arrival Lima

Day 2 Cusco
Flight Lima Cusco. Transfer to hotel, morning free. Afternoon city tour and At night a Cena show will be presented where you can enjoy a presentation of typical Peruvian dances.
Day 3 Sacred Valley
Visit of the Sacred Valley visit Chinchero Market, the ruins of Ollantaytambo and the colorful indigenous market of Pisac. An Exquisite Buffet lunch in a in a Restaurant in Urubamba. In the afternoon return to Cusco. Overnight in Cusco in your hotel.
Day 4 Machu Picchu.
Early in the morning transfer to the train station where your 3 hour journey to the famous sanctuary starts. Arrival in Aguas Calientes where a bus will bring you to the top where you?ll encounter the Machu Picchu Sanctuary. Here your Guided tour of Machu Picchu begins. In the afternoon return to Cusco
Day 5 Puerto Maldonado rainforest
After Breakfast transfer to the airport where you will have your flight to Puerto Maldonado. Transfer by boat to the jungle lodge. Time to install in your private bungalow and to relax in your hammock. Lunch. In the afternoon your first encounter with jungle during a three hours walking tour. Return to your lode and dinner. At night you?ll leave for canoe ride in search for caimans and other noctural animals.
Day 6 rainforest
An Early rise and walk to the close by Clay lick. where we can spot different kinds of parrots and parakeets. Return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast we?ll leave for a daytour visiting an oxbow lake and monkey island, with the opportunity of discovering the rich wildlife of the amazons. Return to the lodge, dinner and free evening to relax and enjoy the colorful sounds of the jungle. Overnight in your bungalow.
Day 7 Cusco
After breakfast return by boat to Puerto Maldonado and transfer to the airport. Flight to Cusco. Reception at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Free afternoon to discover the many interesting museums, local markets and handicrafts shops in this beautiful town. A good moment to buy souvenirs since Cusco offers the best in fine Alpaca wool, silver jewelry, and other fine handicrafts. Overnight in your hotel
Day 8 Cusco - Puno.
After breakfast transfer to the local train station where the Vistadome is waiting for you for your trip to Puno. The Vistadome offers a bar with panoramic view during your journey to Puno. During your trip you?ll enjoy a pleasant lunch served in the nicely decorated train wagon. Arrival in Puno and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Puno.
Day 9 lake Titicaca
Visit of the Islands Uros and Taquile Today we'll leave for a boat tour on one of the highest lakes in the world (3800 meters / 9000 feet). Visit of the floting islands Uros and their typical dressed inhabitants. We continue the tour for the island of Taquile (island of the moon) where the local people are experts in traditional weaving techniques. Return to Puno and overnight in your hotel.
Day 10 Puno Silustani Juliaca - Lima
Silustani Juliaca - Lima We leave Puno by bus to Juliaca for our return flight to Lima. On our way to Juliaca we'll visit the archeological site Silustani.In Juliaca we take the flight to Lima. Arrival in the afternoon in Lima and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Lima.
