From the capital of the Spanish viceroys we fly to Cusco, once the capital of the Inca empire and today one of the world's most beautiful cities; the result of the imposition of a 16th century European culture upon the bronze age society of the Incas, with ancient megalithic walls supporting Spanish mansions and churches. Beyond the city the fertile Sacred Valley is studded with fascinating Inca remains and colourful local markets and is the gateway to the enigmatic ruins of Machu Picchu. From Cusco we travel to the sacred shores of Lake Titicaca, the centre of the Inca creation legend, visiting the fascinating islands of Uros and Taquile and the sombre burial towers of Sillustani burial .
Day 1: Arrive Lima.Day 2: Cusco City tour.
Day 3: Sacred Valley, (Pisaq market, Ollantaytambo, Chinchero).
Day 4: Machu Picchu. Afternoon return to Cusco.
Day 5: Train Cusco to Puno
Day 6: Visit Lake Titicaca and islands, Uros and Taquile
Day 7: Visit Silustani towers and flight to Lima Evening international flight.

Day 1 arrival Lima
Arrival in Lima and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in your selected hotel
Day 2 Cusco / citytour
| Flight Lima Cusco. Transfer to hotel, morning free. In the afternoon citytour, we start our visit with the Temple of the Sun Qoricancha and the main Cathedral. Then, we continue to visit four nearby ruins: Q'enqo, Pukapukara, Tambomachay and Saqsayhuaman. Overnight in Cusco. |
Day 3 Sacred Valley
| Visit of the Sacred Valley visit Chinchero Market, the ruins of Ollantaytambo and the colorful indigenous market of Pisac. An Exquisite Buffet lunch in a in a Restaurant in Urubamba. In the afternoon return to Cusco. Overnight in Cusco in your hotel. In the evening a dinner show will be presented where you can enjoy a presentation of typical Peruvian dances. |  |
Day 4 Machu Picchu
| Machu Picchu. Early in the morning transfer to the train station where your 3 hour journey to the famous sanctuary starts. Arrival in Aguas Calientes where a bus will bring you to the top where you'll encounter the Machu Picchu Sanctuary. Here your Guided tour of Machu Picchu begins. In the afternoon return to Cusco. Day 5 train Cusco - Puno by first class train
| Cusco - Puno. After breakfast transfer to the local train station where the Vistadome is waiting for you for your trip to Puno. This spectacular rail journey begins in historic Cuzco and travels south to the beautiful city of Puno, on the shores of Lake Titicaca. On the journey, the train makes a gentle climb to higher, and cooler, altitudes. The first half of the journey is dominated by the magnificent Andean mountains which towers over the deep valleys of the meandering Huatanay River. It then reaches the gentler, rolling Andean Plains, where vicuna and alpaca can be seen. The glass-walled observation coach provides the perfect opportunity to view the beautiful scenery. During your journey, a three-course lunch will be served. The journey is broken by a scenic stop at La Raya, which is also the highest point on the route. |  |
Day 6 lake Titicaca
| Visit of the Islands Uros and Taquile Today we'll leave for a boat tour on one of the highest lakes in the world (3800 meters / 9000 feet). Visit of the floating islands Uros and their typical dressed inhabitants. We continue the tour for the island of Taquile where the local people are experts in traditional weaving techniques. Return to Puno and overnight in your hotel |  |
Day 7 Silustani towers / flight Lima
Private transport to Juliaca airport. On our way to Juliaca we'll visit the archeological site Silustani, famous for it's burial towers. In Juliaca we take the flight to Lima. Arrival in the afternoon in Lima. Evening connection of your international flight.
