Attraction:

From Lima, the city of the Spanish viceroys, we fly to Cusco, the heart of the Inca Empire. Megalithic Inca walls form the foundations of the mansions and baroque churches of the colonial period, and the hills beyond the city and the Sacred Valley are studded with the enigmatic ruins of ancient temples and palaces. From Cusco we journey by train to Machu Picchu, once the focus of a lost Inca province and now the most important archaeological site in the Americas.

Trip outline:

1. Day 1: Arrive Lima. Transfer to hotel. Overnight Lima
2. Day 2: Flight Lima/Cusco. Free morning. Afternoon orientation walk with your personal guide. Overnight Cusco.
3. Day 3: Sacred Valley tour, afternoon Vistadome train to Machupicchu. Overnight Aguas Calientes.
4. Day 4: Morning tour of Machu Picchu Sanctuary. Afternoon return to Cusco. Overnight Cusco.
5. Day 5: Morning free in Cusco. Afternoon City tour + 4 ruins. Folkloric Dinner. Overnight Cusco.
6. Day 6: Morning flight to Lima. afternoon Lima city tour. Evening international flight.

Day 1 arrival Lima

Arrival in Lima our representative will transfer you to your hotel. Lodging Lima. No meals included.

 

Day 2 Cusco

Transfer to airport in Lima, Flight Lima - Cusco. Arrival Cusco, transfer to hotel, morning free. In the afternoon walking tour of Cusco with your private guide. Lodging in Cusco, Breakfast included.

 

Day 3 Sacred Valley of the Inca's

Day excursion to the Sacred Valley. We visit the colorful indigenous market of Pisac and in the afternoon the archeological site of Ollantaytambo. A buffet lunch is served in Urubamba. At the end of your tour you are dropped of at the train station in Ollantaytambo for your 1 1/2 hour Vistadome train ride to Machupicchu town. Lodging in the Machupicchu Town ( Aguas Calientes), breakfast and lunch included.

Day 4 Machu Picchu

Early morning bus to the Sanctuary for your private guided tour of the Machu Picchu. After your tour you have free time to explore this magnificent site yourself. In the afternoon we return by Vistadome train to Poroy were our representative awaits to transfer you to your hotel. Lodging in Cusco, breakfast included.

Day 5 Cusco citytour

Morning free. An excellent opportunity to buy souvenirs in the many artisans shops. In the afternoon citytour + 4 ruins. We start our visit with the Temple of the Sun Qoricancha and the main Cathedral. Then, we continue to visit four nearby ruins: Q'enqo, Pukapukara, Tambomachay and Saqsayhuaman. Evening dinner and with a folkloric show.Lodging in Cusco, breakfast and dinner included.

Day 6 flight Cusco / Lima

Morning transfer to Cusco airport for your flight to Lima. Arrival in Lima. Leave luggage in airport storage. Transfer to city center for your guided Lima city tour. Evening return to the airport for your international flight. Breakfast included.
